Bellavista Golf Club
Bellavista golf course my experience. Modest but practical facilities, with a provisional pro shop next to the car park. Attentive and very friendly staff. A good driving range and a good putting green and a smaller chipping area next to it. Bellavista golf course is typically a member’s golf course with good overall maintenance. The greens are of good size, slightly wavy and firm. A parkland golf course, which takes advantage of the natural contours of the land and which presents the traditional difficulties of trees flanking the fairways, good location of bunkers on the fairways and protecting the greens, several dog legs and 5 par 3, 4 of them with elevated greens. A single hole has water protecting the green. For the quality of the maintenance and the friendliness of the staff, a pleasant golf course where any player can enjoy a pleasant day.

A lovely course with lots of variety and challenges. Welcoming pro shop and clubhouse staff. Would definitely recommend.

Nice layout but unfortunately we probably played it at the worst possible time in the days immediately after the most recent storm. There must have been in excess of 100 fallen trees with the 9th hole particularly affected and some of the low lying areas were particularly wet in spots. We do appreciate that the hosting club have no control over the weather but it is worthy of another visit hopefully with better conditions next time we are in the area.

Greens true and of very good speed for time of year. Very interesting layout. Only negative scorecards were paper, a good scorecard with course planner would in my opinion for very little money give a better feel before teeing off

We really enjoyed our round at Bellavista. We hadn't played there for a few years because the standard of the course was going downhill. I am pleased to report that the course improvements are returning the course to a good standard: the fairways, greens, bunkers are all much improved. We are already looking forward to playing Bellavista again next year.

Have played here before and is one of our top courses to play. After sometime of neglect this course has revived itself the varied design makes for a very enjoyable course to play

Price is very attractive at the moment but the course needs a bit more care before they can start to charge a more sensible fee and attract more players. Good established layout but found it a bit scruffy after all the development they have done.
