El Rompido South Golf Course is part of a wonderful golf resort located in the province of Huelva, Andalusia. The golf course, which can be easily played on foot, offers spacious greens with subtle lines. The combination of tropical grass and winter grass gives the fairways a comfortable and pleasant feel. El Rompido South is a very technical golf course with an enormous diversity of dog legs taking good advantage of the contours of the terrain itself and the local flora, with no two holes being the same.
The front nine are in a higher area, and the second nine are played around the saltmarsh, a protected area closer to the sea and where there is a strong sea breeze. The presence of pine trees and water obstacles all over the course require precise ball placement. El Rompido has a good score card with essential information for any golfer, a not very large but well-equipped club house and a restaurant overlooking the 18th green with an attractive interior terrace. Good fleet of buggies and trolleys at affordable prices. Attentive and friendly service.
Tee Times Golf Agency , can only recommend this fantastic golf course and propose the best deals on green fees at El Rompido golf course. A pearl hidden in the province of Huelva.

Unfortunately due to extremely wet conditions both of my rounds on El Rompido South had to be curtailed and I was only able to complete the first 9 holes.
A number of the tees have recently undergone rebuilds to elevate them slightly.
The condition of the bunkers were absolutely dreadful with an excessive amount of sand and a large amount of water pooling in them.
Work was also underway on one hole with a 100metre trench running across part of the fairway but no GUR markings or indication of this from either the starter or on the hole itself making a lost ball almost inevitable if you hit into it.
The South course is probably the more scenic of the 2 courses at El Rompido and from what I've played it requires precision rather than power on several of the par 4's and par 5's.
The greens are amongst the best of any course I've played in Andalusia and in spite of the rain they had good pace and rolled true.
I feel the fairways and green surrounds could do with some time and money being invested into them as there were several clumps of weeds and bare areas that let the overall appearance and enjoyment of playing down.

À l’accueil la dame était désagréable elle ne voulait pas prendre en compte mon départ malgré mon voucher.
Trois green n’étaient pas jouables car en réfection et personne ne dit mot.
Sinon un golf correcte dans l’ensemble sans plus

It was raining hard and also lightning and thunder so we stopped after three holes. Can we get another teetime as compensation?
