Golf Santa Ponsa I
Opened in 1977, Golf Santa Ponsa I has 18 holes (Par 72) with a total length of 6.543 meters, being hole 10th one of the longest Par 5 's in Europe.
Designed by Folco Nardi (together with Pepe Gancedo), Golf Santa Ponsa I covers an area of 73 hectares and is a long course with lakes and a great variety of trees (olive, pine, almond, etc). It appeals to all kinds of players thanks to the wide fairways and the tees where long hitters will enjoy themselves without forgetting the short game tuned to a good result.
Golf Santa Ponsa I stands out as one of the most important courses in Mallorca, with most events, host to national and international competitions such as the European PGA Tour in 1988, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1993 and 1998, the Spanish PGA Championship, Spanish Senior Ladies International Championship in 2011, and many others renown competitions.

Very helpful staff but the course a little disappointing. No clubhouse as such and temporary style toilets

Played here on Monday morning and gave it a 5. Must have been monday morning blues probably after a heavy weekend of golf. Played again on the Friday 07/ 06/ 24 what a difference greens bunkers and fairways were all repaired staff were all chatty. Marshall came round and my wife who doesn't play golf complimented on the difference.

An okay golf club requires some money spent on the whole facility fellow golfers require to repair pitch marks.

The golfing experience was good and the staff were helpful. Of the 4 courses we palyed this was by far the least interesting, but still good quality. If we return to Majorca Santa Ponsa would not be one of the courses we would like to play.
