The Valle Guadiana Links course is located at the left bank of Guadiana River’s mouth, which serves as a border between Spain and Portugal.
Being integrated into a Nature Reserve, its special idiosyncrasy gives a freeing and relaxing effect, different from the rest of the golf courses nearby.
Valle Guadiana Links is a superb riverside parkland course with a real links feel. Just 2 kilometers from the highway connecting directly with Seville and Portugal (A-49). Valle Guadiana Links Golf Club is part of the Costa Esuri Urbanization, in the city of Ayamonte, in the heart of the Spanish Algarve

Nice flat course, lovely back 9 by the river, unfortunately we forgot to book a buggy when reserving tee times and there was none available for our tee time!! Clubhouse food terrible !

Enjoyed playing the course, good practice facilities and reasonable price. Only down side is its rather a long drive.

Good course design but Large sections of the course needs attention especially around the tee boxes and sides of fairways …..

Excellent booking service as always from Maria. Very straightforward at the links apart from a strong breeze, but it is a links course....

This was one course that my playing partner & I particularly wanted to play whilst we were here. Thanks to Tee Times. pt we achieved it despite my incompetence! Unfortunately the course isn't what it was. The decision to change to 'Back 9' to the 'Front 9' and vice versa is a negative for us. Whilst challenging the old 'Front 9' eased you into the round with wide fairways and (relatively) easier holes, then the old 'Back 9' gave you more of a challenge. Now you are straight into two of the hardest holes on the course followed by a short, but tricky par 3. No time to get used to the fairways or greens. Also we understand the need to keep rough areas, i.e. rocks and stones just off the fairway, these are dangerous because you can do damage to your wrist. There seems to be more work being carried out on the course but they need to concentrate on the Leatherjackets (insect larvae) because they will kill the course. Overall a mixed bag of good holes and bad ones.

Our experience was good. But we observed that many greens will be better when the grass has had a longer growing period. Otherwice no comments

Play the course each year 2-3 times. Best I've seen it for a few years.

Greens in reasonable condition but tee boxes and fairways in poor condition. It appears to be a case of no money for maintenance. Group enjoyed the day out but we wouldn’t recommend Costa Esuri

we enjoyed playing the course and it was in good condition
the greens were a bit slow when we played
the buggy was very good and the staff were helpful and friendly
a bit surprised to have to pay a euro each to use the driving range having paid a green fee
bar prices were very good though
